SSxx seismometers
The SSxx sensor series consists of geophone-based short-period seismometers. Available versions range from fully mechanical electrodynamic transducers to force feedback sensors with the widely used Lippmann compensation circuit. They are offered with natural frequency options of 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 4.5 Hz, and are named SS02, SS05, SS10, SS20, and SS45 respectively. Three different housing options are available: compact, standard, and borehole type.

Housing options
Different housing options are offered depending on the sensing element of the geophone used. Post-hole / borehole type versions are available. The borehole version can be equipped with orientation mechanisms or borehole locking systems to be used at the desired level within the drill pipe. AISI316 stainless steel or titanium housing can be provided upon request for downhole or marine installations.
