Sara SS08

SS08 Broadband Seismic Sensor

SS08 is our broadband seismic sensor, fully designed and manufactured in our own laboratory. Developed for rapid deployment, this sensor provides reliable performance over a very wide operating temperature range. The sensing elements are housed within a robust enclosure made of steel and aluminum, designed to reduce mechanical stresses caused by atmospheric pressure changes.
Based on the Galperin configuration, the SS08 architecture enables extremely sensitive signal recording with ultra-low noise levels and very low power consumption (<0.5 W). Thanks to its high tilt tolerance, the device becomes ready for measurement within just a few minutes after installation in the field.
SS08 can be effectively used in global seismic monitoring applications and especially in microseismic studies such as oil and gas reservoir monitoring. With its robust structure, low energy requirement, and high recording quality, it is a powerful solution for both continuous monitoring and projects requiring rapid field deployment.
